ABOUT ME

I am an artist, graphic designer, sometimes writer, and full-time seeker living in the shadow of New York's Shawangunk Ridge.

 

When I was seven-years-old I wanted to be a "dinosaur scientist" (I didn't know the word "paleontologist" back then), only to decide I would be an artist instead. In junior high, while researching careers for an assignment, I discovered this vocation called "Commercial Artist" (now "Graphic Designer") and realized that's what I wanted to do! So I studied art and graphic design in high school, took classes with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division, and got an Associate's degree in Mass Media Communications from Rockland Community College.

This education, along with over two decades of experience in newspaper publishing and freelance work, has provided me with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle just about any design project, be it print or digital formats. I enjoy using my talents to help small businesses, non-profits, community groups and fellow creatives achieve their goals - because I only really feel successful when I can help others to succeed.
